Cheetos is bringing a restaurant full of dishes inspired by the crunchy cheese puff snacks to New York for a weekend.
“The Spotted Cheetah” restaurant will serve Cheetos-infused dishes crafted by celebrity chef Anne Burrell from Aug. 15 to Aug. 17.
“As a long-time Cheetos fan, I’m thrilled to join forces with a snack brand that is truly an iconic American staple,” Burrell said. “I had so much fun curating this specially crafted, one-of-a-kind menu for the first Cheetos restaurant – I can’t wait to see guests’ reactions!”
Ryan Matiyow, senior director of marketing of Frito-Lay, said many of the dishes were inspired by meals concocted by creative fans.
“Once again, our fans have inspired us with their creativity and playfulness. We’ve seen their love for Cheetos exhibited through innovative dishes, desserts and beverages, which motivated us to create a restaurant that would bring a full Cheetos culinary experience to life,” he said.
Meal prices range from $8 to $22 and potential guests can reserve a spot through OpenTable by visiting the restaurant’s website.
A digital cookbook, featuring all of the Spotted Cheetah recipes, will be made available online to coincide with the restaurant’s opening.
