Something happened with this year’s 2013 Tony Awards program, it was amazing television. Neil Patrick Harris will certainly get an Emmy nod for his effortless hosting performance. Four times in a row his openings and closings are the clips we all talk about the next day. The show moved with the rhythm of many of the musical numbers presented.

It accomplished its job, enticing the viewing public to venture to Broadway and see a show.
